The signalling glove FLICKERBIKER® is the newest trend in the bicycle industry. The design was developed to increase the visibility of cyclists on the road, especially during key manoeuvres such as turns. Flickerbiker® is a signalling glove that gives its user the ability to get noticed during: cycling, walking, Nordic walking, running, or skating.
The glove has a built-in intelligent fiber-optic signalling device which acts in the same way as the indicator of a car, increasing your safety on the road. The signalling device is mounted inside a pocket on top of the glove. The device is made from an electronic part that is encased in transparent, flexible plastic. Each fingerless glove is equipped with two convenient finger loops. These loops help with removing the gloves quickly and comfortably.
The bright light emitted by the glove improves a cyclist’s visibility during twilight and night. This means that car drivers will notice the cyclist earlier and are able to safely respond to the Flickerbiker® user's manoeuvre.
Flickerbiker® automatically activates itself independently when handled. When not in use, its electronic system will put the glove into standby mode to conserve its battery.
The signalling device is activated with one of the two possible gestures. Before first use, you have to “teach” the glove which gesture you will be using (see instructions for details). When making the programmed move the glove will flash 20 times. The number of flashes can be multiplied; when making the triggering gesture twice, the glove will blink 40 times if you make the releasing move two times in a row then the glove will blink 40 times (3 gestures result in 60 flashes; 4 gestures in 80 flashes; 5 gestures in 100 flashes; 100 flashes is the maximum). This function is very useful during crossing big crossroads.
The signalling device cannot be activated by gestures other than the programmed on, so it will not activate accidentally.

If the gloves are used for two hours per day, and are used to signal 100 turns (20 flashes per turn), the battery will last for about two months. In standby mode, the battery will work 160 days (more than 5 months). We recommend you remove the batteries for long periods of non-use.
